I-wood vs gPhone?

The idle screen of a cellular phone now can show mobile advertisement. A Dutch company i-wood has made it possible. The most interesting thing is that the banners are stored locally and are synchronized periodically with the servers of i-wood.

Sounds nice, why do we need Android (gphone) at all ;) ? I-wood even has quite witty promotional video, much better than Google’s
